Founded in 1970 by Francisco Martínez and José Cantó, our company began in this sector with a small production run of 10,000 bags per day. Thanks to our commitment to constant investment in technology, together with the trust of our customers and the work of all the members of our team,our current production level is over 8,000,000 bags per day, making us one of the leading companies in Spain in the automatic packing of teas and infusions.
Located in Novelda, Martínez y Cantóhas one of the largest infusion production plants in Spain, with over 21,000 m2 of modern facilities and the most advanced technology on the market. This enables us to be more productive and therefore helps our customers to be more competitivein their markets. A team of more than 140 professionals works every day to guarantee the commitments that define the pillars of our company: the safety, quality and innocuousness of our products. This, in itself, is important, but how we do it is even more important.
Martínez y Cantó is a leader in Spain, but the company also extends its activity to more than 12 different countries, such as France, Mexico, Arabia, Germany, the USA, Cuba, … thus making us an international reference.
